About us
Sofie Leusch and Dulmi Ratnasiri founded the Care for Kids Club at the Academy of the Holy Cross in 2017 to serve their local community. The organization aimed to promote and improve the well-being of children at the Children’s Inn at NIH. Through fundraising campaigns and outreach programs, they hope to provide resources for children to feel supported and empowered by their community. Some of their most successful campaigns have been the holiday goodie bags, which are packaged with the help of their members. Now graduates of the University of Maryland, Sofie and Dulmi have continued to grow the organization on campus and expand their reach. Thus far, they have raised approximately $10,000 for several children’s organizations across the state of Maryland. The outpouring of support for children in need has been an incredible experience, and they are hopeful to extend the organization’s reach going forward.
Everything we do is for the children.
